Brisbane South PHN is offering general practices the opportunity to attend an education session with an aged care expert. Find out more about Australia’s complex aged care system and how we can help you to assist your older patients to make informed decisions about their care.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
This information is relevant for the whole practice team – General Practitioners, practice nurses, practice managers, reception staff and allied health professionals.

PRESENTERS
Annette McNee, Director, AgeLink Consulting
Annette McNee spent over 40 years as a practising pharmacist and has been involved with the aged care system since 2010. Annette has experienced being a full-time carer and has consulted in many capacities as a consumer advocate. Annette is also a consortium partner with the COTA Australia Aged Care Navigator Trials.
Marion Dwyer, Specialist Support Worker, Brisbane South PHN
Marion Dwyer, has worked over many sectors of aged care including Residential Care and Community Services. Prior to joining the Aged Care Navigator Trials, Marion was providing case management for clients who were receiving services through Home Care Packages. Marion is available to help your patients to understand, choose and access government-funded aged care services.
